Rental Conditions

• Requested reservations via the internet are subject to our confirmation and this will be mailed to the address provided by the customer.
• We can only secure the delivery of the confirmed car group, not a specific model or engine type (petrol or diesel).
• Vehicles can not be taken off the island. No refunds given for unused days.
• Insurance does not cover accidents or damages caused by driving under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs. Costs involved due to client’s negligence must be paid on the spot.
• Cancellations and amendment free of charges.
• Return the car when the office is closed is possible but must be approved by OwnersCars. The tenant is responsible for the car at all times even when leaving it outside office’s hours.

Driver’s age:

• Drivers must be over 21 years and must hold a valid driving license with one year minimum experience, depending on the car model (please check at booking time).
• For special groups the minimum required age is 25 years and 4 year experience.
• For drivers under 25 years, one time young drivers charge of 15.00€ per rental will apply.
• Photocopies are not accepted.

Price Includes:

• Unlimited Mileage VAT (16%)
• Airport Fees
• One extra driver
• 24 hours road assistance
• Fully comprehensive Insurance with exclusions.

Not Includes "exclusions"

• Tow-away service due to client’s negligence.
• Lost, damage or broken keys and costs involved.
• Inadequate refuelling
• Windscreen or glass damages.
• Underneath of the vehicle and costs involved.
• Damage to rims and tires, flat tires.
• Extra services (baby and boosters seats, additional drivers, out of hours).
• Fuel. Traffic fines.

For only 4.00 Euros per day maximum 25.00 Euros per rental  you can take our optional insurance to cover damage to wheels, tyres and glass. This will free you of any expenses incurred by any of these contingencies. Note that a simple flat tire is much more expensive than that.

If you want to enjoy your stay in Menorca with no problems, we offer you our total fully coverage insurance. For only 8.30 Euros maximum 58.00 Euros per rental  you will cover wheels,tyres and glass, lost or damage to car keys and in the case you put the wrong fuel you do not pay anything.

Under no circumstances damage caused to underneath of the bodywork of the vehicle and costs involved are included.

Payment:

• Payments is made by credit/debit card or cash.
• We only accept Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard.
• For payments with debit card & Visa Electron and cash , a security deposit is required amount will varies by type of car . Group B-C1-C2 = 550.00 Euros, D1-D2 = 700.00 Euros, R1-R2-M = 950.00 Euros, Z = 1000.00 Euros, G = 2000.00 Euros.
• Security deposit in cash can only be made at Mahon airport, for the rest of offices we can only accept deposit  made with a credit or debit card.

Fuel:

• Our prices do not include fuel cost.
• For 6 or more day’s rental, cars will be delivered with a full tank and must be returned empty.
• The cost for the fuel is charged upon pick up.. This amount depends on the model and engine type. Just as an example the approximated amount to be charge will be 50.00€ to 80.00€. Please note that there will be no refunds for unused fuel.
• For less than 6 days rentals, cars must be returned with the same level of fuel as when collected.

Pick up and Drop off:

• Must be done at the same office and the time stamped in the contract form.
• Pick up and drop off only at our offices, during opening time 09.00h to 11:45 and 17.00h to 19:45h. Menorca Airport ffice open 07.00h – 22.00h. Please check Time Table.
• Out of hours pick up available by request only at the Airport office 22.00h to 07.00h, 25.00€ service charge will be applied. Mandatory arrival flight number.
• Ciutadella and Mahón Port Terminal deliveries are available, under request 30.00€ service charge will be applied, (mobile phone required).

Extra services

• Baby seat and Boosters seats: 3.50€ per day maximum 40.00€ per rental.
• Second aditional driver: 2.50€ per day maximum 25.00€ per car.
• Hotel deliveries are available under request, 30.00€ service charge will be applied.
• One Way (return the car in a different point): 40.00€ service charge, for 5 days rental period or less.
• Optional Insurance to cover wheels & tyres only (SRC): 25.00€ per rental.
• Optional full coverage insurance to cover; keys, inadequate refuelling, wind screen damage or damaged caused to rims and tires 58.00€ per rental. Under no circunstances damage caused to underneath of the bodywork vehicle and costs involved are included.
